Murphy's Oil Soap does a decent jpb of cleaning stubborn waxes out of applicators (and pads).

For applicators, I often use the little rectangle sponges sold for washing dishes... NOT the ones with the scrubber side though

Post back here what you experience.

Mike - I use Ivory to get NXT out of my PC polishing pads (and all other polishes) and it works. You get no suds like when I clean #80 out but the pad gets clean.

        NXT Foam Pad

I just used the NXT foam applicator. Before I always used the yellow Gold Class applicator pads. The NXT seems even easier to apply with the NXT green/purple which seems softer. The NXT seems to glide right on and it is easier to apply a thin coat compared to the yellow pad. Is that just my imagination?

The yellow pads seem to clean right up int the washer and dryer.

Tonight I tried to wring out the excess Tech Wax from the NXT pad. I did indeed have a hard time getting it all out. I will probably put some Dawn on the pad and squeeze out the remaining wax before I put it in the washer.

I rinsed the pad under warm water for a while, then I would put it in the washing machine together with all the polishing towels.

Air dry the pad and it usually turns out fine.

I just worked some liquid dishwashing detergent really well into mine. The NXT seemed to bond with it and rinsed out without foaming up, the ScratchX rinsed out foamy, as did the M#80.

I rinsed the pads out with warm water, squeezing and all, then squeezed them dry. I then put them individually between two terrycloth towels and wring the towels out.

The pads are airdrying now, if they're not dry already.

I've got many of those yellow pads too and one NXT i got with the wax. I use it only for NXT. but it's similar to the yellow once i think, only the collor is different. I didn't like the pads first, but
now i like them more and more, they require very little product compared to bigger pads and they are easy to clean too i think. I just squeeze them in a papertowel after use and wash them in the mashine(not the one i use on tires only) with other towels i use on the car.

By the way 1,67$ for two pads, here i pay 6€(a sixpack of beer is cheaper) for the same pack and the NXT bottle was 20€, are they ripping me of or what?
