ColorX & PC/G100?

I'm about halfway through claying the 2001 Malibu (aka wifemobile). I'm going to go right to ColorX, regardless of the swirls, because that's what most consumers would do.

Has anyone CX'd with the PC? Which pad?

Hi Tom,

The best pad for this is the W-8006 polishing pad on around the 4.0 to 5.0 setting.

I just received a PC for Father's Day, so I can't comment applying ColorX with a true "PC".

However, I did apply ColorX a few months ago on one of my older cars with an 8" Black and Decker orbital polisher with a foam polishing pad I bought years ago.

The results were quite outstanding!!! I was really pleased with the results! It does seem like you have to use a lot of the product. That may be different with a PC and good foam polishing pad.

I'll be using ColorX again on my older car when I'm short on time and want to do a quick 1-step.

P.S. I also used NXT afterwards. As Mike has shown, ColorX and NXT make a very powerful 2-step combo!
