ColorX Separated!

Hi everyone I went to use my bottle of ColorX for the first time in about 2 months and I came to find that it had separated! I shook and shook it but can’t seem to get the water and the “goo” to combine again. Are the contents junk now? Why did this happen? I’m sure they sit much longer on the store shelves.

Seperation can happen for various reasons.

1. Product is too old
2. Product was stored at high heat for a long period of time
3. Product has been frozen and thawed out.
4. Product has been sitting for a long period of time. (but usually comes together after a good shake)

If the product has expericed any of these reasons, especially 1-3 most likely the product has gone bad. If you feel the product was stored properly (room temperature) feel free to pm your info and I'd be more than happy to send out a replacement.

I guess storing ColorX in my Arizona garage is out of the question then?

I guess I'll be buying a new bottle sooner then expected.

SHAKE MORE AND HARDER!!! It will eventually combine. If you don't feel like shaking it, just call the Meguiar's Hot line and they'll take care of you.

Though, it has been said before with many other Meguiar's products that the seperation doesn't affect results, but just makes it's use more difficult.
