Is there a difference between clear coat body scrub and professional fine cut cleaner #2? I'm trying to restore the paint on a '96 Integra. The finish is pretty oxidized so I started with turtle wax rubbing compound (had a can from way back), then fine cut cleaner #2, then swirl remover #9, and finally wax. For grins, I tried skipping the rubbing compound, and the results weren't as good.
Then I noticed I had a bottle of the body scrub - and tried it since it says it's works like rubbing compound. I noticed it was a LOT easier to work with than the compound, and the results were similar. In fact, I think I can skip the fine cut cleaner #2 and just apply polish followed by wax.
So, from this experience, I take it that the body scrub is more abrasive than the #2 fine cut cleaner and I should just go with body scrub process?
Just as a note - the Meguiar's products are top notch - the finish after I'm done looks like the finish on my 05' accord.
