  • the perfect prescription

was bored today so i played around a little bit.I used scratch x for my prep and then tried colur x (first time) and wow this stuff works pretty good and at a good price.I also had some fine scratches on my tail lights but they wer no match for plastx.
colour x is really easy to use and really did improve the colour of my car i didnt think it could get any better.i would recommend any of the above products to anybody.

I would have to aggree. All three of those products perform as claimed and at a fair price.

Did you usa the ColorX on a clear coat or a single stage finish?

Hi mopar, that's good to hear.

The reason I asked is because typically the colored waxes that are marketed as a way to restore the color to a car's finish is basically junk science.

The idea that you can use a wax colored red, on a neglected car with clear coated red finish is ridiculous.

The idea behind ColorX is that if car has been neglected and the finish has become dull, oxidized, stained swirled and hazy looking, instead of try to die it using a colored wax, the cleaners in the ColorX offer enough cleaning ability to restore clarity to the clear coat and thus enable your eyes to see the color coat underneath.

This is an example of Real Science.

ColorX works this way on both clear coated finishes and single-stage finishes, (non-clear coat).

Ya i know what you mean.I walk into the store and they have those colured waxes there .I said to my girlfreind thats stupid because when you think about it how many defferent shades of red are there in the car industry hundreds i bet so how is this one bottle going to cure my specific shade i think those bottle are a bunch of b.s..My paint wasn't neglected at all and it still made an improvement.
