How often?

As per my other post, I finally detial my car using NXT car wash, DC-1, DC-2 and NXT tech wax. I plan to apply another coat of NXT tomorrow morning.

I will continue to wash my car once a week. How often should I wax again? Should I keep applying NXT car wax only or should I repeat the whole cycle (DC-1, DC-2) again?

My car is a 2004 CLK, silver. I think silver should require less attention than darker colors like black. I am hoping to go thorugh the cycle only twice a year, before and after winter. For the rest of the time, I will just use NXT Tech wax. What do you think?

Usually I use NXT booster spray about every 2 weeks and coat of NXT wax monthly or so. If your vehicle is garaged kept and not outside during rain storms and what not maybe repeat every 4-6 months.

You'll catch the fever though and want to improve the results you have now so it probably won't last but a few months. I look forward to rewaxing now so I can start all over when time and the wife unit permit.

dc-1 :you should only have to use this step about twice a year.(may be required more frequently depending on where you live and enviromental fall out)like tree sap,rail dust etc.you can polish as much as you want but will probly not see any defference compared to if you used it less frequently.what i do is clean the paint ,polish,then wax then form then on 1 to 2 coats of wax per month and then every other montha coat of polish.and then in the fall all three steps agian .nxt is a great wax and can be layered .if you are going to wax frequently though use a pure wax or nxt becuase they dont have heavy cleaners"agressive"dont wana wear the paint out.sorry for the novle kinda tired right now.
