  • which spray detailer to use?

I am using a base coat of NXT topped with #26, after trying different combos I have found this one gives me the best results on a black vehicle. Considering the top coat of #26, which spray detailer would work best with the finish: speed detailer, quick detailer, final inspection or last touch? Is speed detailer specifically made to work with a top coat of NXT only?

    Thanks

I have found that the NXT SD works best as some say it offers a bit of protection, but gives optimal shine. I did a small test on my buddies dark dark blue grand am, and I liked the NXT over the quick detailer, it seemed to make the small area smoother, too. But honestly, both work very well. I picked up both and alternate.

As much as I love Meguiars' products, I like Mothers Detailer the best. I use Meguiars regular and NXT, and Pennzoil's as well, but the Mothers seems to leave the best shine and is not a dust magnet as the NXT seems to be. Just my 2 pesos!

All Meguiar's QD's work with all Meguiar's LSP's. It's more a matter of personal preference.

The one that works best is the one you use. As such I'd recommend #34 or Last Touch since they come in bulk sizes. I know I use them more than I would the others.

Yep a personal preference... now in my case I reach for Last Touch, I like the look, comes in a gallon and can be diluted for claying. Overall just great for what I need!

NXT Speed Detailer if you don't need a large quantity. Last Touch if you want to buy in bulk. Last Touch is also available in a spray foam version. I have a slight preference for Speed Detailer in hot humid weather because it is easier to use. They both give similar results in slickness and shine.
