Gold Class All Metal Restorer or All Metal Polish

Whats the better of the two? I just want to shine up my exhaust tips from time to time. I have used a sample pack of the GC all metal restorer and it worked well, should I just stick with the GC?

    Hey,

They both perform very well!! Either one does a great job! I usually use the All Metal Polish first then follow up with the Gold Class All Metal Restorer. Here is a picture of my aluminum fishing boat. I just re-polished it again this past weekend using the above products.

I asked my wife to hold the bottle to show the clarity of the reflection in the raw aluminum (she is starting to worry about me! LOL!!)

I saw your boat in an earlier post, very impressive! Do you use a PC or rotary on it or all by hand?

        Hey,

The other photos were from last summer. This one was from last Sunday. The good part is that it was far less work this time than it was the first time as the GC AMR held up really well over a very rough winter!

It was necessary to use a rotary screaming at ~ 2300 RPM's, and a wool buffing pad. I then followed this with the PC and a Polishing Pad. I did have one spot on the stern that needed more attention, so I tried to do it by hand. That did not work out as well as it did with the buffer. However, on chrome exhaust tips etc. by hand will work great! Just be sure to apply it in the shade and to REALLY work it in well!
