At first I got alot of streaks on my dash and interior using NXT Tech Protectant. Then I took a second towel and VERY lightly misted it with Tech Prot, (just one, maybe two mists). and went over it again. Streaks gone. My interior has never looked better.
what i did was applied to the my mf towel and then wiped side by side and then up and down lwt it penetrate and then with a new mf towel lighly wiped and it gave me a really nice finish and no streaks
I haven't had any streaking problems and I have applied it to quite a few dashes on all different makes and models of cars and trucks during a detailing clinics.
I usually apply with a clean foam applicator pad, allow to penetrate and the wipe off any excess with a clean microfiber.

I'll give some of these tips a try tonite and see if I can get a more even coverage. When I was said streaking, I meant I could see the 'strokes' on the dash no matter what I used to apply the tech protectant.
Hey, I think the streaks you are seeing is really just thick and thin applacation. If you let it sit and then like Mike says take a MF and wipe it down good they will go away and it will look smoooooth. I had the same problem and this worked for me. Thanks Mike.

Make sure to use a dedicated MF to remove the product. It makes a big difference! Plus, you can also control the sheen better by how much you wipe off. For example, I prefer a satin sheen look, so I wipe off the protectant very thoroughly.
Ah yes...it went much better tonite. I put it on thick w/ a regular terry cloth towel, waited a bit then went over it w/ a MF towel & I got the even coverage/shine I was looking for!

Thanks again for the tips! It's weird, I have been getting use to the really shiney finish and since I went over it last night w/ the MF towel, I have to keep asking myself if there is any NXT still there I won't miss the glare reflecting up in my windshield that's for sure!
Like I said, I prefer the satin sheen look over the glossy look. One suggestion though. Instead of using a towel to apply the product, use a foam applicator. You will use less product and will spread the product very easily!!
I usually get streaking when I put protectant on the dash when its still dusty. Make sure its cleaned off real well before applying. You will be in awe of the NXT shine and feel. It dries up great and is not sticky or oily. Like the potato chip commercial says. Get your own bottle!
