  • NXT is "the explosive device"

    I revisited NXT today.

Since I used it last, in February, I've used GC, #26, #16, #20, Pinnacle Souveran, Turtle Wax Ultra, and prolly a couple more.

I washed with NXT Wash, hose-dried, and applied the NXT by hand. It was a bit humid, so I removed it from the upper surfaces with the PC and an ultimate bonnet, and from the sides by hand with a mf towel.

I went on some errands, and each time I came back to the car, it had that "WOW" factor.

The wax it had just replaced was Pinnacle Souveran Paste; a nice wax, said to be one of the best for red.

And, I know WHY, I know what it is about the NXT that makes it so great....

It's all color. There's reflection, sure, but it's natural reflection, not "silveriness". But, the car's all color, the natural red that it was painted, with the natural reflection that a fresh paint job would have.

So, NXT is, how do you say it? Oh yeah; "DA BOMB!"

As the light changed from red to green to yellow and back to red again, I sat there thinking about life. Was it nothing more than a bunch of honking and yelling? Sometimes it seemed that way.

    Hey Tom,

I am really pleased to hear that you like the look of NXT! I have been a big fan of the product for a long time now, as I really like the same look you describe!

Yeah, Tim. And y'know, Souveran is really nice stuff, but I didn't see that "POP" that I'm used to, even with Souveran.

Then today, the NXT. And as I walked to my car, after each store that I visited, what I noticed most about my car wasn't the reflection, but the color. It was very vibrant and alive.

I'm going to stick with this one for a while. I really prefer it over most else I've tried lately. I'll probably NXT/NXT/GC/NXT, or substitute MPPP every third waxing or so.

Hey D-Dog, where in PA are you?

The #9 is a lot milder than the IP, btw. It's the kind of product you use after IP, to get the "glass" look.
