  • How long should the clay bar and scratchx process take to do?

When I am claying my hood, at the end of the process, should my whole car be wet w/detail spray, and how long should that take, like slowest time to fastest. Also I see that it says to use the scratchx on small parts of the car at a time? So it is not a good ideal to do the whole hood in less than 5 min? Do i have to do a little part by little part? If so, whats the slowest/fastest time it should take to do my hood?

    THANKS
    SK

Whatever panel you finish claying, always wipe that panel. No need to leave the QD spray on. Depending on how neglected the paint is, claying should take anywhere from 1-3 hours.

You will kill your arms if you try using scratchX on your entire car. I've done it once, and I've learned my lesson.

Well, depending on the condition, claying can be faster than an hour for a whole car.. just depends on what you are working on.

ScratchX on the other hand is a pain and then some. It works great.. you just have to take the time ,and work it in with a lot of passion.
