I got my hands on a 16oz bottle of the GC soap recently so I got a chance to try it out. Unfortunately its not marketed very well in Canada. The 64oz & 1gal sizes are not available, and the 16oz bottle is usually not found on shelves at places like NAPA, Canadian Tire and Partsource.
Over the last few days I had a chance to wash all three of my cars.
I have to say I LOVE this soap. I mixed it as per the label using 1oz per gallon of water. The bottle's cap is 1/2 oz so I used 4 capfuls in 2 gallons of water. Whoa, TONNES of suds!! I then proceeded to wash the car with a sheepskin mitt and a 2nd bucket of rinse water. The soap felt like hand lotion every time I dunked the mitt back in the bucket. The cleaning power was definately adequate to the task and the slickness was great also. At the end I took the hose nozzle off and did the water sheeting trick and the soap made that very easy as advertized. The car was super easy to dry afterwards and had a nice glow.
(results repeated for my other two cars).
I have a new favorite soap. However with the NXT line slowly starting to trickle out into Canada, when my GC is out I may replace it with the NXT wash, which will likely be more economical at 64oz.
Sorry, I don't have pics yet. I couldn't find the digital camera when I needed it (finacee had it), but if the weather stays nice (ie. cars stay clean) over the next couple days I'll see if I can snap a few.
