After using both the NXT Tech Wax and the Spray Booster, I think that NXT is really a professional line product. My first use of Tech Wax was using it as a consumer would. Heck, I got just as good results with the consumer line cleaner/wax. I was very disappointed in the rusults of applying Tech Wax on what I thought was a pretty good finish.
To make NXT work like it should, you have to use it as a detailer would, not as a "normal citizen" would. The surface must be very well prepped and almost flawless. NXT has very little cleaning power and minimal ability to remove/hide swirls and scratches. But oh my, if the surface is ready for it, NXT is almost "magic".
I don't think that Meguiar's is going to be all that successful in marketing NXT as a consumer product, especially if it is marketed as a one step product that does not have a cleaner to accompany the sealer. Consumers are going to find that the actual results from using NXT aren't that much better than those obtained from a much less expensive one step product -- for example the consumer cleaner/wax (which by the way comes in a much "classier" bottle).
All of this is OK with me. NXT is a darned good "professional" product. Probably the best that I have used although I am still not sure of it's durability.
