Mike, or anyone:
I just did a comparison with Gold Class, and #26 Wax, and was amazed with the results I got with #26 Wax!
The last few years I have been using Deep Crystal steps #2/Polish, and #3 Wax, and have been very satisfied.
I recently got a new 2004 F 150, Deep Torreador Red, and the first few days I had it I washed and applied the Deep Crystal System (steps 2, and 3).... It looked great... deep wet looking shine. I was very pleased!
Last week, about 6 hand washes later (about 6weeks) I did an application of the Gold Class, and was not quite as happy with the finish. Not as much shine, or not nearly the same liquid shine I got with Deep Crystal ( I am applying both by hand). I just didn't get that deep shine look that I was used to from the Deep Crystal Polish, and Carnuba Wax.
So, today (Sun 4/25), I threw on a coat of #26 Wax... and Wow!
It looks incredible!.. The red is very deep, and shine looks very liquid. The finish feels real slippery to the touch. I think it's the best shine I've ever got on any of my vehicles. I used cotton towels, and cotton rags to apply, and polish.
I found it easy to apply, and remove (bear in mind I applied the Gold Class 4 days ago, and the truck's finish is relatively new).
I love the #26 Wax...
Mike or anyone else out there: Is it the Carnuba in the #26 formula, or the combinations of ingredients in the #26 Wax, that makes it work so well?
Also, what's the difference between the Deep Crystal Step 3 Carnuba Wax, and the # 26 Wax ingredients? Are they different types of Carnubas?
I have been really happy with the Deep Crystal Step 3 Wax, but # 26 Wax seems even easier to apply and remove, leaving a deeper, wetter shine. Anyone else have similar results?
Thanks to All -- I appreciate the Website, and have learned alot here!
Joe.
