Sorry for late response - product is still active!
Is it still active now? Although it shows up at meguiars.com, the MeguiarsDirect link is dead, and it seems to be out of stock at most stores that used to carry it.

While a great product, M305 is being phased out.

If I'm remembering correctly, #80 Speed Glaze was similar in that it could be applied to fresh paint and leave some protection while allowing the paint to breathe/cure. Since that product is gone, and with M305 being phased out, is there another Meguiar's product that will perform that function?
We do not have another product at this time which would come close to M305 Ultra Durable Finishing Glaze. Any polish like #7 Show Car Glaze or #80 Speed Glaze in the past, as you mentioned, what was happening, is those products leave behind polishing oils which naturally provide minimal protection, but this experience with a polish is much different than M305.
