difference in these foam pads

what is the difference between the W6000 http://www.meguiars.com/?pro-pad/Softbuff-Buffing-Pads

and the popular 8006 http://www.meguiars.com/?pro-pad/Sof...Polishing-Pads

they both work on DA's too... thanks

From reading the text on the sites you linked to it looks like the W6000 is basically a W8006 but with a "built in" backing plate.
