    p.s.

The abrasives in both these products are diminishing abrasives as Meguiar's doesn't use any abrasives in our Automotive Line that don't break down. This is a benefit to the user as it insures a more gentle and intelligent approach to cleaning the paint and removing defects.
Diminishing abrasives are . I have had some success with #6 in removing light rail dust so that speaks well for it!

I've used one bottle of ColorX (obviously not all of it on my own cars) and started a second, and I've used #6 once. Not that there's anything wrong with #6, but I "feel better" using ColorX. When I pull it out to use it on an oxidized red or black Miata (for example), I have 100% confidence that I know the results in advance.

If I had to pick one product to use on my cars and forsake all others, I would pick proper technique and ColorX.

As the light changed from red to green to yellow and back to red again, I sat there thinking about life. Was it nothing more than a bunch of honking and yelling? Sometimes it seemed that way.
