I am working on my baby, a 93 Pontiac Grand Prix. In over 11 years, I have only used DC3 and GC on the finish. However, I have ordered a bottle of #7 and #26 just for this car. She's red. I was just wondering, does the #26 bead water like the DC3 and will #26 give me three months of protection. The car is garaged or covered most of the time but driven fairly regularly. Three months is about what I usually got out of the DC3, which was better than the GC. So regarding protection and durability, how does #26 compare? Thanks guys.

    Bama -
Greetings from a Birmingham guy. Family still lives there and I get back a couple of times a year.
#26 has long been by favorite wax (along w/S100) and I think #7/#26x2 is nearly unbeatable. Killer gloss, especially on reds. While I've never had a problem with #7, it absolutelu rewards patience. VERY thin coats, wo/wo, go to another panel, wo/wo, go back to previous panel and wipe off again. I believe you'll like this combo better than DC3 or GC. I get 6-8 weeks and my car sits out all the time. You should do better. Good luck - report back! Interested to hear your impression.

E-Jag, thanks. I lived in Birmingham for three years while in school. I am looking forward to trying the #7 and #26 combo out. I will let you know how it goes, and I appreciate the input.
