  • Why is the detailer line so hard to find??

I looked at the PBE listing and I called everyone of the stores for my zipcode of 55429. Not a single one knew what I was talking about not to mention half of the phone #s were not working. How often is this updated? I would really like to try some products without having to pay shipping.

If you do order them, you pay shipping but no sales tax. Its possible, depending on your order, that it could even out. The listing isnt very accurate. It says they dont have any dealers in Oklahoma City but Oreillys carries or can order all the products from the warehouse in Oklahoma City. Not really helpful there.

Make a list of part numbers for the D-Line products you want and ask the PBE stores about ordering.

The first PBE store I got stuff from only stocked Unigrit paper, 8" pads and compounds. They had never even heard of clay. With the part numbers in hand I got my 6.5" pads and C-2000 clay in two days.

You always pay shipping. If I had a store right next to your house that sold the detailer line and it cost me $XX to ship it to my store I would pass the cost over to you.

Check out this place - http://www.autodetailingsolutions.com

They sell the detailer line in smaller bottles they pour themselves so you can try the products for less cost and less shipping cost too. Also consider that many of these internet shops don't charge sales tax, for me that makes up the shipping costs in a lot of cases although car soap/wax is sort of heavy and costs more to ship.

Yeah the detailer line is kind of hard to find. I am extremely lucky, Auto Detailing solutions is local to me. Across town, but he's up in this area dropping off stuff once a week anyways so I just have him stop by when it's convenient for him. I would imagine there are other suppliers around in other areas that you could find who distribute the detailer line, but they're probably pretty difficult to find initially.
