hyper dressing and #40 pro?

will hyper dressing have the cleaning ability that #40 does from the pro line??

i run small detail buisness and hyper dressing will go alot further with the dilution ratios and buying both by the gallon for the money. i use it now on engines after they are cleaned and wheel wells and want to be able to use it in the interiors also, but like the small cleaning ability of #40, like on the door handles, rests, and center rests, to get the sweat marks, and kick mark from shoes on the lower area of the door panels.

please help??

can anyone speak from expreience?

Hi Jon,

Hyper Dressing isn't really formulated to be a one-step dressing that cleans well, then conditions and protects, best results will always be achieved if you apply to a clean surface, or pre-clean with a product like Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner.

That is one of the features that makes M40 so popular for some many years is that it's a excellent quality dressing that offers some light cleaning too, perfect for one-step detailing work on surfaces that are not overly neglected and dirty.

It will clean light dirt from vinyl on in that it is a liquid and you'll be applying it with some type of applicator or toweling and the cleaning action will be in a large part provided by the contact pressure and agitation of these two things.

Mike I'll already have APC, that i use when i shampoo the cars, i have safe d greaser also that i use to clean the wheel wells, tires, and engines then i dress with hyper dressing.....


is there something from the detailer line that dresses and lightly cleans like #40??

Ask Joe, aka SuperiorShine what he thinks about M40...

I really like M40 it works really well on just about everything the first time, every time. The cleaning action is definitely a bonus.

i just wanted to get away from m40, and stick with hyper dressing for the only reason of price, since hyper dressing does not have cleaining abilities, i will keep m40 in the aresonal.

I love #40. I just picked up a case (4 gallons) last week. If you decide to buy #40 in the 5 gallon container make sure you order it early as it will take awhile (at least here in cali) to come in.

My clients love the smell of it and the nice sheen it leaves on the tires.

We use hyper for engine and wheel wells.
