    TOO SHINY!!!

    MEGUIARS WHAT HAPPEN?

This new stuff leaves the seats with way too much shine. My clients hate it. One made me remove it.

    What is an alternative?

The Gold Class spray has a more satiny sheen...but you can't buy it in bulk.

I'm with you, Joe. No shiny leather.

Joe my favorite Meg's leather conditioner had to be M-96-16 Medallion Premium leather applied with the Palm of my hand. Excellent product low sheen or no sheen..

          Hi Joe,

I am really surprised by the results you are getting from the D-180. I have always found it to give a nice satin sheen, which is opposite to what you are finding. I am at a loss on this one. Are you using it straight from the gallon or from the small bottle?

Unforunately, M9616 has been discontinued so buy all you can get if you like it... It was my favorite in the lineup, too...

I think it was a VOC thing.

We pump it into the small labeled meguiars leather bottle. We apply a bit on a sponge and wipe it on the leather. We then wipe it with a dry terry towel after a few minutes.

We have tried applying more and less of what we normally use and still get unsatisfactory results.

The problem is the not only the shine but it leaves the leather with a plastic synthetic look.

Kevin, Do you have any to sell? I would love to get a 5 gal container. Please let me know if you do, 626-964-0808

I called everywhere today and found 4 pint bottles at the PBE wharehouse in Downey, I need more!

I also spoke with three other pro. detailers that are unhappy with D180.

                  Joe-
I do have three gallons (brand new) of the OLD Detailer Leather Conditioner to hold you over...

We'll have to get Jason on the search for the M9616... They never sold it in a larger quantity. I wanted to track some down anyway.
