So I am doing some detailing at the lot I sell cars on for some extra money. I did a '07 Elantra yesterday that wore me out. It was in pretty bad shape with rust stains all over it and plenty of scratches that needed work. I did the complete exterior: wash, clay, UC, UP, ULW. Turned out awesome but it took me 7 hours for the engine and exterior. Most of the cars that I'll be working on probably won't need as much work.

My question is this; would D151 PRC be a viable option in my situation. I know there are variables that will have to be taken into account but I'm speaking generally. I have used D151 before and it seemed to dust quite a bit on me. Would a bit of UP with D151 give me less dust?

I have had great success with D151and not much dusting. How often are you cleaning your pads and how often are you changing them out as you do a car?

Love D151. Maybe you were dry buffing or not using enough product. I did have a dusting issue once but that was in very hot weather.

I'm in FL so maybe the heat/humidity was a factor. I clean my pad after each panel so I don't think that was the issue. I may just have to get a sample bottle and try it again. If it still dusts I may try a bit of UP.

I hate 151! It's the one Meguiars product that has simply never played nice with me on application or removal. However, M66 is fantastic!

If you need a quick and effective way to restore vehicles' paint, D151 Paint Reconditioning Cream & DA Microfiber Correction System would be your best friends.

D151/ D300 and D301 all use non-diminishing abrasives (super micro abrasive technology - SMAT).

Really, I have had the opposite experience besides for that one time in the heat.

How does the D151 finish out using the DAMCS? Any hazing? If any, how bad?

On delicate paints both D151 and D300 may cause some haze. In those cases you can follow D151 again with a finishing pad and D300 with D301/ MF finishing disc or foam finishing pad.
