Can I use D301 between D300 uses

    Can I use D301 between D300 uses

    I just used the DA Microfiber kit for the first time this weekend. I just shocked with the results! I am so happy I got this kit.

    I know most waxes last about a month. I know I am not going to need to the D300 correction compound but maybe twice a year like when I do clay bar at the same time. I liked the feel and looks of the D301 wax. I am just wondering if that is OK to use on its own when I am not doing a full detail of the car.

    Sure.

    Though I am not sure of the MF pad would be recomended for regular use.

        That is what had me thinking also. Know the D301 is made for MF pads.

          I personally love D301 on a foam finishing pad. So smooth!

            You can use the D301 on either the microfiber finishing disc or a foam finishing pad as often as you like. Consider it a mild cleaner wax, essentially, so regular use should help to keep the car at a high level for a long time. And quite honestly, we're a bit surprised that you think you need to do the D300/DMC5 twice a year! With really good washing and drying technique, and proper between wash maintenance, you shouldn't be creating enough swirls in 6 months to need such an aggressive approach.

              Thank you. Good to know I do not have to use the D300 that much. I am just so use to having to do a clay bar twice a year that was my thinking. I am new to using a polisher and knowing how often I need to do things now.

              How long should the D301 last? My car is in a garage. Luckily for my car now my wife and I car pool. So my car only sees the outside about 4 days a week.

                You should be able to get a couple of months out of D301 in your situation. Remember, the DAMF System was originally designed for volume reconditioning facilities so longevity of the wax was not at the top of the design criteria for it. Ease of application and speed of removal were tops, and R&D absolutely nailed that.

                  It is lasts me a few months I am fine with that. I go to a lot of car meets and some shows. I clean my car a lot. I do not have a issue with that at all. With how easy this it to apply and get off I am more then happy with it. Just got another bottle of wax on sale.

                    It's a great wax. It goes on and off so easily I find myself using it all the time.
