So w hat is the difference between the two? I am looking for something that I can use on trim and that will come in contact with the paint. I tried APC+ and it stained the hell out of my trim. Discolored it and some I replaced. So will the Safe D-greaser be good for that or would the superdegreaser be better?

Hi:
For cleaning trim I would take a look at #39. Also, #40 can be useful since it is a cleaner and conditioner.
Sorry I can not answer your question about the two degreasers.
I use the Safe D-Greaser but only on wheel well, etc. Have never used the other product.
It is my understanding that Meguiar's does not recommend using the Safe D-Greaser on the paint. So that could make it difficult to use on trim.
Hope that helps.

The best choice for your application is definitely Safe-D-Greaser. It is designed to be "safer" on all surfaces in general. With this safer formula, keep in mind, it will not be as strong as the Super Degreaser.
In this situation, we recommend using these types of product with a towel or brush to control the product. Anytime you spray this type product of this nature, you do run the risk of staining paint as it runs down.
