Hi members goodday i would like to check whether is 7006 cutting pad a wool pad like the 3m white compounding form pad ?

and aslo can i use m205 with 7006 cutting pad?

The W7006 cutting pad is NOT a wool pad but a very dense/coarse foam pad.

You could use M205 with the W7006 cutting pad but that would probably leave a slight haze to it. You'd get better results by using M205 with the W8006 polishing pads or the W9006 finishing pads.

No, 7006 is a foam pad.

And no, I wouldnt recommend using #205 with the 7006 pad.

As noted above, the W7006 pad is a foam cutting pad, designed for rotary compounding (primarily) when removing severe defects. M205 Ultra Finishing Polish is just that, a finishing polish, and as such really should be paired with a finishing pad, or maybe a polishing pad depending on the paint, in order to achieve maximum results. Using a fine finishing polish on a cutting pad is a rather odd combination as the two are designed for very different purposes.
