I would highly suggest D300 (Microfiber Correction Compound) and D301 (Microfiber Finishing Wax). These 2 products along with the entire microfiber system was specifically designed for high volume detail work.

1-Step: D151 Paint Reconditioning Cream or M66 Quick Detailer (D151 has more cut and it uses SMAT technology: super micro abrasives, non-diminishing)

2-Step: DA Microfiber Correction System D300/ D301 - as Marc mentioned above, very easy to apply/ work with and wipe off

Let's make sure we fully understand what it is you're after here. You mentioned "pure polishing" and to Meguiar's a pure polish is a product designed to do just one thing - add gloss. A pure polish offers no defect correcting ability and no protection. We don't really think that's what you meant though.

If what you're looking for is a single product that will provide at least some level of defect removal along with a bit of gloss and some protection - and do it all in one step - then either D151 or M66 would be your choice. Both can be applied with either a DA or rotary buffer and a variety of pads depending on what you're looking to accomplish.

The DA Microfiber Correction System is an excellent alternative if you need more serious defect correction and have the time for an additional step. The second step in this system can be done very quickly, however, so it be something to look at. Of course, this system is DA only and not suitable at all for use with a rotary buffer.
