  • VERY Pleased with MF Buffing Pads

Posted last week about my disappointment in the new microfiber buffing pads. Not the performance, but the fact that I ruined two pads on one small car. A call to Meguiar's customer service resulted in two new pads sitting at my front door a couple days later. Anyway, I tried again yesterday and I'm pleased to report that the pad showed no signs of wear after doing a mild correction on a BMW 328i. Also, this was my first time using the D-300 correcting compound and must say that the combination finished down better than any compound that I've ever used. The clarity in the paint was simply incredible. I've never gotten a finish so pure so quickly.

The MF pads are nice, I myself have already ruined one of them but that was due to extreme excessive use.

I like them for cutting gel coat and fiberglass in addition to paint.

They look like they will be such a time saver. I had quoted 6 hours to the owner of the 993 (that I tore up the pads on) and had it back in his driveway in just under 4 hours. While I'm sure he is happy having to pay less than what I quoted him, every time that I talk to him all can do do is rave about how nice his car looks. These really are a game changer.

One other thing, had some stubborn water spots on the 328's front and rear glass. They were all gone in less than 1 minute with the correcting compound and cutting disc. Now I'm kinda looking forward to getting in a car needing a lot of correction to see just how good these things are!

I will have to try these at some point, unfortunately all of the cars in my household are starting to look pretty good! I've seen some great before and afters with these things.
