Yesterday I cleaned my windshield with #34 (outside only) I noticed today when driving in some rain that the drops were just blowing off the windshield . Its hard for me to believe that 34 leaves nothing behind after this experience and using it to clean/qd my truck .

Yeah, the qd sprays will leave a little of the oils,etc they contain behind. Nothing that is meant to be durable though.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue -

Don't know that we've ever said M34 "leaves nothing behind" but whatever is causing this water shedding ability isn't silicone and it isn't wax as M34 contains neither. It is a body shop safe, "paintable" product with no fillers, but it's obviously not just plain water either! Exactly what ingredient(s) is causing this is something R&D won't divulge, but we don't expect it to be a long lasting effect by any means.Michael Stoops
