I own a detail shop and detail an average of 5-9 cars per week. I have used Endurance gel for the last two years, and I love it other than the sling from heavy areas. Its not a problem after a few miles really, but by then my customers are home and have gel on their cars sometimes. This doesnt happen all the time, just sometimes. Anyway, question being, does All Season Dressing sling less if used on tires? And how long does it last? The Endurance still lasts a very long time, I dont use much, but I have been wanting to use something in a larger size jug to keep on hand for long periods of time. Almost every product I use is from the Detailer line. If anyone has a comparison account for ASD compared to Endurance, please let me know. Ill pick some up Monday if its a good product for tires.

With what ever you use on tires it is important to get the excess out of the cracks......i like to drive around the block to get all water out of crack and if it slings I simply use a QD to wipe the car down.....Or you an air compressor to blow out the exess from the hard to wipe areas of the tire. I have had excellent results from asd and hyper dressing on tires. I like to spray it on let it almost dry, work it into the area/tire, then after all four are done I run over the tire with a cloth to remove the excess. -

I use ASD on my tires and love it. It gives the best shine (I don't like super shiny), is easy to apply, never had any sling issues, an it will last for a long time...How 'long' is depend on what you want out of a tire dressing...Since I don't want a super shiny look the ASD keeps the tires like I like them for about 2 wks...weather dependent of course.Comment

yeah i do wipe with a cloth after if i created too much buildup in the cracks of the tires sidewall. and i do blow out all water during drying with an air compressor nozzle. i use a rubber tip nozzle and its the best thing ever for windows, trim etc. i feel the same way about tire shine. i prefer a glossy, but still matte look. i have noticed that the gloss doesnt appear to last as long, but ASD seems to repel water and things of that nature longer than Endurance. Not from my personal experience, but from when I opened my shop and heard what a previous detailer had done on tires. he supposedly used ASD.Comment

I've used both. My opinion is that Endurance lasts a little better and definitely stays blacker. ASD has a little brown effect after a couple of weeks. As for sling, I find them about the same. My procedure is to let them completely dry before the customer drives off, and hour or more is best. After pulling the customers car out of the garage, slowly, I'll rewipe any excess off the tire.John @ HillCityAutoDetail.com

I usually use ASD on my customers car because it is more cost effective than Endurance since it can be bought by the gallon.
On my own car, I use Endurance Spray and it last a long time. In fact, the last time I washed my car was 2 weeks ago and I even drove in some heavy rain yesterday (Irene left over...) and the tires are still black.Comment
