  • Stupid Question

So, I got some of the glass cleaner and APC+ and want to use at the proper dilution ratio. On the bottle it says how much water to add to the bottle, but I'm not sure how much of the product to use. There is no mark on the bottle, I know this is stupid, but want to do it right.

    Thanks,

    Re: Stupid Question

You got the Meguiars Detailer Line spray bottles?

if so, you fill with water to the line on label, and then with product to the plastic lip above the label.

There is no such thing as a stupid question. We're all here to help out. It's bad if you don't ask the question.

This article should help you out: How to properly dilute Meguiar's Detailer Line products.

      Hope this helps.

If you don't have the Meg's spray bottles, here's the dilution formula to use for any size bottles:

I see quite a few people talk about difficulties with dilution ratio's. So, I figure I would just lay down the simple solution that will work every ti

Thanks, I thought that was right, I remember seeing that article, but couldn't find it for some reason. I did it the hard way and measured it out at 20 oz of water to 2 oz of glass cleaner concentrate, but I knew there was an easier way. lol.

              Re: Stupid Question

Love the Meg's bottles, the lines are easy- they let you pour the water in first, then the chemicals- so you don't end up with a bubbly, messy avalanche of suds like when you put in the chemicals first. Simple green is always such a challenge...

                Re: Stupid Question

I just had the same issue with my delivery of Glass Cleaner and APC+.
I used the measure the water, do a bit of maths, add the water back and then the concentrate.
However, after doing this I had a further thought.
Can I use the glass cleaner (if diluted correctly) in the washer fluid bottle on my car.
Now that is a stupid question.

I wouldnt... Going to take the wax off. Also, might be stronger than the pump, etc are designed for, but not sure about that.

                    Re: Stupid Question

                    Seems a logical answer.
