  • DA Microfiber and festool rotex 150

Has anybody been using the microfiber system with the festool? What speed setting are you using? Are you using the forced rotation or the oscillating? Thanks for any help

    The same rules apply:
    D300 Correction Compound - 4800 opm,
    D301 Finishing Wax - 3800 opm.

    Check your tool's speed settings.

If you decide to use it in forced rotation mode go with 6" microfiber discs due to tool's aggressiveness.

You're better off staying with the oscillation mode when using the DA Microfiber Correction System; the forced rotation mode is overly aggressive and a big part of the reason why the Flex 3401 yields less than optimum results with this system. As Greg mentions, you'll want to check your tool speed settings to get as close to the 4800 opm and 3800 opm settings as possible.
