Got alot of Meg products...which to use; help needed

Hi. I have lurked for years but I now find myself in need of advice. I've collected quite a few different Meg products. I would like to detail mom's 2003 Honda that has never been detailed before. And yes, it stays outside. I'd like to do the job well, but I don't think I need to use every product I have. FYI, I have and know how to use a Porter DA.

Which product and when?

Meg Pro Detail Clay Mild
#2 Fine Cut Cleaner
#6 Cleaner Wax
#21 Syn Seal
#26 Hi Tech Yellow (god's gift to car guys)
#34 Final Inspection (I use as lube for clay)

I also have the 3 step system in the maroon bottles (cleaner, polish, and carnuba wax, plus the cleaner wax)

You could try the fine cut cleaner, but really would probably be best off adding something like #205 or Ultimate Compound (or both) to you collection.

What kind of condition is it in, as far as swirls, spotting, etc?

Hi Murr. Not bad overall. It's the slate grey color. Hides imperfections well. No real swirls or spotting.

I'd like to get away without claying the car (if possible). Would the #2, which I have, work, or is the #205 different in terms of cutting?

Sorry. Meant to say "which cuts more #205 or Ultimate Compound"?

Ultimate Compound is a true compound and cuts quite well while 205 is a fine finishing polish and offers much less cut.

The claying and cleaning are two different steps... even a stronger cleaner wont replace the clay.

Decided to start with the trunk. Clayed, ran PC with paint cleaner, polish, and then #26. Looks great. Thanks.
