  • D301 Questions

I know that the D301 Finishing Wax hasn't been around to long but, how good it this wax?

I assume this is actually a cleaner wax. But is it really a wax or a sealant? How glossy is this wax compared to other waxes. Can it replace NXT or Gold Class? What is the durability like?

    Thanks for the help.

    Re: D301 Questions

It is mainly a polymer blend.

It is a cleaner/wax and leaves a very slick, glossy finish.

Can it replace NXT or Gold Class? D301 is a totally different wax. D301 is a cleaner/wax while NXT and Gold Class are finishing waxes (not to be confused with the name of D301) and have no cleaners.

Durability I can no comment on yet as it has only been on my dad's truck for a few days.

      Thanks Shawn

I was starting to get it figured out I guess. The DA Micro Fiber System sounds so good you just want to jump on it. But I don't like having to many products sitting on the shelf as some of them start to really collect dust. I mainly just take care of my own cars which I keep in pretty good condition. I don't really need any heavy paint correction and I don't really like the idea of a cleaner wax. I think I just need to stay with what I have. I usually clay the car if needed, touch up the finish with #80 or #83, Polish with #7, then wax with Gold Class or NXT. I am going to try out the Ultimate wax to see how it looks. I have one black car and one white so I'll get a pretty wide range of view on the gloss and reflection.

      Thanks,

Allen, from the above description of your situation, we honestly don't think you need the DA Microfiber Correction System. If you're really staying on top of your own vehicles, and they're the only ones you ever really work on, then odds are you just don't need the overall aggressiveness of this system. It sounds like you've got a great system in place to do just that, and as the old saying goes - if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

But definitely give the Ultimate Wax a shot!!!!
