Megs Glass Cleaner Concentrate

So I was thinking of trying d120, getting the small bottle from ADS, and was thinking with most of my cleaners I just use normal city tap water for diluting, but with glass cleaners most people say to use distilled water. My question is; is it truly nessacery, or can i get away with normal tap water. I was also thinking of possibly adding a little bit of ONR as its abilities to soften the water. what do you guys think?

Do not add ONR. Just use water.

I just use tap water.

If you had extremely hard water, maybe. You can always run it through a Brita as well... not sure if they help water hardness or not.

My tap water isnt too hard compared to a well, I just wanted to see if using tap water with this glass cleaner would affect it that greatly since it would leave streaks, but if you guys are using tap water and still getting great results, that was my main concern.

I love Megs Glass Cleaner. I buy a gal of distilled water and use that to mix 10:1. In pre-diluted bottles. IMO it works really well at reducing the streaks.

I have sold 120 bottles of D120 glass cleaner in my store in the last 4 months and all was mixed with tap water. Without exception, the customers love it and are talking it up to their friends. In my opinion, it's not on the glass long enough to tell the difference between tap or distilled water. Streaks? Absolutely NONE!

120 bottles is a lot of product, thats impressive, you guys must have some pretty dirty conditions, lol. what type of media do you guys prefer to use with it. ww, normal mf, cotton terry, paper towel?

Lotta southern Californy dust! I manage a small RV strore inside of a 5 star RV resort (www.orps.com) and there are over 1200 sites. Lots of luxury rigs here and some nice cars too. Folks that pay nearly $2 million for a luxury rig want clean windows... I recommend using microfiber towels to the customers, if they don't have some...of course I have some they can purchase! I sell the blue Megs towels...to go with the blue cleaner.

I don't do any detailing other than my own...there are about 6 mobile detailers that work the Palm Springs valley detailing RVs. They have pickups, custom trailers with soft water and power washers. They use a lot of different products.
