I'm looking for D/A buffer speeds while using a yellow buffing 2.0 pad. I have done half of the hood twice and still have some of the original straight line scratches in the hood. I have done 2 passes using speed 3. Should I change speeds or go to a red pad to get these scratches. The scratches can not be felt with the fingernail or by the hand, However, it can be seen under bright light. Any thoughts? This is a dark blue car BTW.

You definitely want to bump that G110v2 up to speed 5 here, Bob, as 3 is really mild for defect correction. And you can get fairly aggressive with the pressure as well, if need be. Just keep the tool moving slowly over the paint rather than dwelling in one spot for a period of time, but keep your overall work area down to maybe 18" x 18" max if the paint is really hard. And go easy on the product usage too - overdoing it will cause more issues than it resolves.
