    Hey,

I agree, there must be something wrong as there should not be a greasy feel. How long are you leaving the #26 on the paint before removal?

Not sure if I should say greasy feel. It looks like a hazy film. I QD'd the hood again yesterday and it looked good in my garage, but it's still there when the sun hits the hood. It appears that I'm just pushing the stuff back and forth. I'm going to try and wash & QD the hood again. Maybe it's the towels I'm using. Can a Bounce sheet leave a coating on the cotton towels. I know I'm not suppose to use softeners in the laundry, but I'm not sure about the Bounce sheet.

Looks like this is totally different from the original subject.

It sounds like somethings wrong with either the product, the application, or the removal.

Thanks for the offer Mike. I really appreciate it. I'll probably take you up on the offer if the wash & QD doesn't work out.

          Hey,

I have a feeling that is the problem, the Bounce sheet! I had a similar problem years ago when I tried a Bounce sheet to soften the cotton towels I was using at the time. I ended up getting a film! I bet that after you wash the car, the film is gone!

Won't find out for a few days. No point in washing the car right now since it is predicted to rain on Friday and Saturday.

Well, I was finally able to wash my car. After wiping down the car, I QD'd the hood and the hazy film is gone! I think it was probably the towels I was using before. I rewashed every towel and dried them without the Bounce sheet. I think I'll be doing that from now on. Thanks Mike and 2Hotford for your inputs.
