I was thinking about this the other day. I want to buy some Hyper-Dressing but something just doesn't feel right about this dressing. Does it provide UV protection and does it condition vinyl and rubber like M40 does? Will it give as much protection and conditioning that M40 will provide as it is continuously diluted? Sorry if this seems obvious but it has been bothering me for a few days now.

Re: Does Hyper Dressing provide nutrients to rubber?
I only use it on tires and wheelwells.
I also use it on vehicles on maintain weekly since it washes off easier.Nick

The more diluted the HD gets, certainly the less UV protection / moisturizing.
I would expect things like UP, GC Trim Detailer to moisturize more, but who knows.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Per Mike Pennington, it does contain some UV screener:

I was actually looking at this a few days ago as I picked up some 303 Aerospace Protectant. I do like HD but I seem to trust AP a little more when it comes to UV protections. However... AP is much more expensive ($21 for 32 ounces). In this case I used the AP to treat some nylon that would be in the sun a lot. But I did apply some to my plastic tonneau cover. I reminded me of the difference.... HD tends to go on a little thick. It does have a slight build up that I don't like (3:1). To put it another way, it's slightly gummy, while the AP goes on thin and smooth with little build up.
If Megs could tell me that the UV protection was the same, I'd _love_ HD... but I'm betting that it has less UV protection then M40 and much less then AP.

Not exactly a scientific approach. Is there a reason why a UV number can't be generated? If they do it with other products from liquids to glass, it seems like a reasonable request.
