Alternate Uses of Meguiar's Products

Hi

After applying APC+ and Gold Class wax to a refrigerator so that the only blemishes remaining were rust spots, I sanded the rust spots and treated the metal with OSPHO. Some of the OSPHO went on the floor and after it was wiped up the tile grout was clean like new. After that observation I experimented with APC+ (upholstery blend 20:1), Safe D-Greaser (4:1) and Wheel Brightener (4:1) on the tile grout and agitated with an old toothbrush.

The results:

1. Wheel Brightnener - tied with OSPHO
2. Safe D-Greaser
3. APC+ - would be better if mised to degreaser blend

I use Meguairs Glass Cleaner (10:1) glass cleaner on mirrors and other glass surfaces in the house and I now have an alternate use for Wheel Brightner, grout cleaner. Though Wheel Brightener is reasonably harsh I reckon that the OSPHO (phosphoric acid) is harsher and more dangerous.

Does any one else have a similar experience with Meguairs products or non automotive uses?

#80 on counter tops applied with the d/a.
A-12 cleaner wax shower surround.
Poki's idea, on the stainless steel sink.
Scratch-x on our pvc fence
D-line glass cleaner inside mirrors and glass

This is all I can think of for now. I know there is more.

APC on carpets and for any random dirty spots

APC, at most dilutions, kills smaller ants almost on contact. Larger carpenter sized ants are treated to a slower death. Obviously, these are "clean" kills.

I've found many uses for Ultimate Quik Wax. Since Jubilee kitchen polish disappeared I use UQW on appliances. I also use it on shower glass and brightwork to keep residue accumulation at bay and ease future cleanup. I tried it on exterior house windows after spring cleaning and discovered the treated glass didn't accumulate crud the way the untreated windows do.

My wife just shared with me APC mixed 10:1 cuts dried hairspray like nothing else she's ever used.

Time to order more bottles, I'm not getting that one back.

Quick Wax on kitchen hard surface counters and especially on woodwork and wood cabinets. MUCH easier to use than furniture polish and shiny slick non oily results!!

I'm looking to refill a foaming hand soap despenser. Can anyone recommend a Meguiar's product (maybe Hyper Wash?) for this? I usually use liquid hand soap and water at 1:1.

i use #7 to clean water spots off hrome surfaces it works great.
