I painted my car about a year ago and just recently after coming home from vacation, i've noticed a orange peel defect in my custom paint job. i think the orange peel look comes from water residue and not being properly dried. My car needs professional advice can someone please help.

Re: how to get the orange peel out of candy paint
Can you post a picture of the vehicles finish? Is the entire finish affected, or just one area?
If it is indeed orange peel then wet sanding the finish by a competent detailer would be the best route to go. Wet sanding to level/ flatten the finish followed by a good polishing job should suffice.
Did you paint the vehicle yourself? If not, you may want to ask the painter how much clear was sprayed and what type of paint system you are dealing with before proceeding further.Erik Mejia
