  • mixing APC and Last Touch

I came up with this idea while working on some pretty nasty doorjambs.
I generelly go APC on MF if it`s looking nasty, on milder stuff and dust i tend to use LT.

Has anyone ever tried mixing the two?
I imagine LT would add some lube to the surface, and APC provide cleaning power, but what dilution would YOU use for this experiment?

Interesting idea. Try half and half LT and 8:1 APC. Cant hurt.

I think it is a interesting idea. Not sure how practical it will be. Mix up a batch and let us know how it works. Would be interesting to hear your findings.

Re: mixing APC and Last Touch

I think what is going to happen is the APC is going to make the Last Touch less effective. The Last Touch is going to make the APC less effective.

Last Touch is a lubricant, this will reduce APC's ability to penetrate the surface and clean.

APC would be a great product for removing Last Touch. The Last Touch isn't going to want to bond with the surface.

Let us know what you think, but my guess is you are going to get grease etc. balling up on you, it's not going to break down and be as easy to remove as using APC on it's own.

I was thinking maybe undiluted LT for added slickness and better drying.?

When i do jambs with apc i usually go 7:1, so i might just use this in the mix w/ LT

I`m away from home and brought gear for a mobile detailing session wich will take place in the next couple of days, i`ll give it a try.
