  • Can I apply #7 after #20?

    Hi,

Can I apply #7 after #20? Because currently my car had apply #20. Is there any different if I apply #7 now?

    Hey,

Meguiar's #7 Show Car Glaze is a pure polish and not a wax/sealant, so it would wear off quite quickly if placed on top of the #20. A lot of people do however apply it on top of their wax/sealant when going to a car show as it adds more "pop" to the paint!

What I have done for years is to use #7 and top it with #20. That way you can seal in that extra "pop".

      Hi Tim,

Since my current layer is #20. Can I apply 2 layer of #7 then seal it with #20 again? Will it make any different?
      Thanks!

Since your car currently has #20, yes you can apply #7. Also, the only difference in applying it now would be that it probably will remove most of the protection benefits of the #20 already on your car.
