What is the thread size on the back of this backing plate? I want to be able to use this attachment in order to use it on a drill as well as my DA: http://www.autodetailingsolutions.net/sp5814.html. Thanks in advance!

The S3BP comes with about a 1/2 dozen double threaded adapters designed to fit various DA's, but none for a standard drill. It's possible you can find an aftermarket adapter for that purpose.Originally posted by coopers23 View Post -

That drill adapter is designed to allow standard rotary backing plates with a 5/8" mount to work on a drill. Our S3BP backing plate is designed for D/A use, but our W63 rotary backing plate will work with that adapter - that's the backing plate you want.Michael Stoops
