ColinA common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Dilute it 4:1 and apply it properly (ie, thin application with a follow up wipe down a few minutes later) and it won't.Michael Stoops

When used on tires Hyper Dressing effectively blocks the damaging effects of ozone, which is the real culprit with tires, not UV.
Now, if you're only going to use a product on your dash once every six months like Joe Consumer tends to do (and that might even be a lot for him) then Hyper Dressing may not be the best choice. Certainly Natural Shine and Supreme Shine will provide true UV screeners that HD lacks. But if you're the typical MOL kinda guy who dresses the dash monthly and then even wipes it down weekly with QID, then HD is perfectly fine for use on the dash.Michael Stoops

I will be getting some HD and will dilute to the 4 to 1 ratio and give it a shot. Will make remarks when I can.
