I am looking at placing a large order at ADS for June and came upon some items I could use for headlight restoration. I am also buying some 2000 and 3000 grit sandpaper (as I can get lower 3M grits at Wal-Mart if i need). I only plan on wetsanding headlights; no wetsanding paint for me!
I have a drill I can use and an attachment for the drill that will match the 4" spot buff Megs pads and the 3" wool one. Now for the question. how much pressure can you really apply to this 3" knitted wool pad?
This other one made by Buff n'Shine http://www.autodetailingsolutions.net/301g.html looks a bit more sturdy so that the user can apply mroe pressure.
The Megs pad http://www.autodetailingsolutions.ne...pad-w4003.html looks 'fluffier' for lack of a better word, as if the fibers would not remain in a tight pack (like they would bend away from the surface).
