The process question?

I have just purchased a car. The car was parked outside and has never seen a garage or a car cover.

First I used 105 with a DA buffer.

Second I used 205 with a DA buffer.

Third I applied #7 glaze by hand.

My question is now do I just apply #21 or do I apply #7 then #21 .

The car is silver if that makes a difference.

#7 is an oil-based glaze. It adds a little gloss to the paint, but it does not protect the paint and will be washed away if you do not seal it in with #21. So yes, wax your car.

If you have driven your car or left it outside exposed to the elements between the time that you applied #7 and now, then you will need to wash your car again before waxing. The car shampoo will probably wash off the #7 that you applied, so you will need to decide whether you want to glaze the car again or simply go directly to wax.

I suggest that you adopt a regular detailing schedule. Check out this article: Your Daily Driver: A Simple Wash & Wax Regimen. Simply substitute #21 for your final wax/sealant. It should work great for you. #21 has lots of fans on MOL.

The car is now ready for M21.

Moving forward, depending on the condition of the car. If it looks good, just use M21. If there are some minor swirls, use M205 followed by M21.

M07 is just an optional step of pure polish that would be applied after M205 and before M21.

One more tip, you may consider claying the car if need be on an as needed basis before polishing or waxing in the future.

I screwed up, I have so many bottles setting around. The car is in the garage, no need to wash.

The question i meant to ask is Do I do a # 26 then a #21 or just a #21.

I clayed the car first then the process above. I am guessing that #21 takes the place of #26 and that there would be no advantage to do #26 then #21

No need to do both....If you like a "pure" carnauba, the M26 should be your choice. If you prefer a polymer, then M21 should be your choice. Keep in mind, M21 will give better protection, so most people will lean that direction...

Actually, my car gets a surprising amount of dust just sitting in the garage for a day or two. You probably do not need to wash, but may well need to UQD to remove light dust (and you certainly dont want to wax with that dust on the surface and then push it around applying/wiping the wax.
