What's the best way to apply Hyper Dressing to the dashboard? Do I just spray it on and let it dry or do I use an applicator pad or microfiber towel? I'm positive there was a thread on this already but I couldn't find it using the search.

Re: Applying Hyper Dressing on dash
Usually a foam or microfiber applicator helps to achieve a uniform coat. Also be sure not to spray the dash but spray the Hyperdressing on the applicator pad.Nick

Re: Applying Hyper Dressing on dash
You can use an applicator pad or microfiber. That is better then just spraying it, that way it will get on things you don't want....like your windows. Usually, depending on how much shine you want, you would do a final wipe with microfiber anyway. There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

Re: Applying Hyper Dressing on dash
hyper dressing can be a little bit tricky when it comes to applying it to interior parts...when diluted, even at 1:1, hyper dressing gets pretty darn thin. when diluted at 2:1,3:1,and even 4:1, its pretty much just like water. on engines, its easy as 1,2,3,..you just spray, let it sit, and wait for it to dry, and bam its done..on interiors, you cant really just spray it on the dash, all you will is just watch the product drip down onto your seats, radio, floormats, etc...the best way is to just get a spray bottle, dilute it to your liking, and apply it to a applicator pad and work it into the surfaces.Addicted

Re: Applying Hyper Dressing on dash
I really don't like to use dressings on interior pieces. I use Interior Quik Detailer (can't wait for the new formula) AFTER I've cleaned all areas with APC+ (10:1). If it's one I maintain, I just use the detailer.
I use it because it cleans, protects, and leaves a matte finish. If it gets on the windows, glossy trim pieces, or screens, it's ok.....no mess.
If the customer requests "gloss", I will use Hyper Dressing at 3:1 applied to a MF Pad first, then to the dash.www.clean4udetailing.com
