So here's my idea. Every 6 months or so I plan to clay, swirl removal if necessary, polish, seal and wax. My question is what's the diffrence between the pro swirl remover #6 I belive, and swirl x? I was thinking of using #7 for the polish, is it ok to use #21 over #7? I am using #21 for a sealant, followed by #26 to finish. What are your thoughts?

Re: Trying to come up with a new system
I would go with...
205 > D-151 > #21 2.0.
Over the counter.....
SwirlX > ColorX > NXT 2.0
I like using D-151 in place of a glaze. True reflection and depth come from correcting the surface and this product does this while adding gloss from it's protection. A win win in my book.www.clean4udetailing.com

Re: Trying to come up with a new system
Wouldn't using 205 then D151 be kinda redundant? Same with SwirlX then ColorX?
I know 205 and SwirlX are cleaners, then D151 and ColorX are AIO -- but if ALL of them are cleaners, wouldn't that be wasting time?
I don't know...that just confuses me! lol2011 Infiniti G37S 6MT

They are AIOs but do a better job at enhancing the finish than just a plain glaze since they are truly correcting and protecting and just not hiding.www.clean4udetailing.com

Re: Trying to come up with a new system
So in essence you're using D151/ColorX as a polish?
If the paint has been fully corrected using 205/SwirlX, would you be applying pressure to the DA while applying D151/ColorX, or just spreading it around lightly like a polish/glaze?
And since the OP plans on using a sealant/wax combo, he should NOT allow D151/ColorX to dry to a haze, right? Just wipe it off when done spreading it around?
Sorry for all the questions, they're kinda more for me as well since this sounds like a good idea! Just want some clarification!2011 Infiniti G37S 6MT

Re: Trying to come up with a new system
Well, it is kind of repeating, but the ColorX will be milder, so it could act as further refining the finish.
The D151 is a alot stronger, so not as sure about how it refines the finish.
But whatever looks good to the user in the end is ok.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

I haven't tried a AIO yet. I kind of like using individual products. It gets me more "me" time in the garage2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR - Graphite Grey

I'm just worried about using too much of the cleaners cuz it's not the greatest for the clear coat..I haven't tried a AIO yet. I kind of like using individual products. It gets me more "me" time in the garage2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

That said, I keep some A-I-O ColorX around for "other peoples" cars (like the wife's and the daughter's). ColorX has some cleaner, some glaze, and nice wax and it works really well (and quickly). As well, in between your cars spring and fall full details (which include clay+cleaner+glaze+NXT etc), try keeping some new GoldClass Enhanced as an A-A-I-O (Almost-All-In-One, no significant cleaner but polish+carnuba+ploymers) for an excellent one-step summer rewax. If you need more than a GoldClassEnhanced rewax then you need the full detailing session (for your car) - Thats when you break out all the "good" stuff.
