Is it safer to use the California Duster then Last Touch, or should I just go straight on using Last Touch? I want to decrease the chance of swirls on my paint. Thanks!

I guess it depends on how dusty the vehicle is...if it's really dusty you may want to consider washing.

If you have both the duster and Last Touch I would probably use both; knock of the majority of the dust with the duster (using just the tips of the duster, making sure you don't press down into the paint), and then hit it with Last Touch and a high quality micro fiber towel.

^^^^^^^^^^ +1 to that! I use a duster frequently in the summer times when dust is flying up here in the mountains, then follow up with a QD product.

+3. That would be the safest route. To use both products.

          Re: Dusting my car

THANKS guys! My car gets rarely dirty, just dusty. I always try to use the duster, before using a quick detailer, to remove the majority of the dust. NO pressure on the duster, always!

Just for conformation, I use the methods as described above with great results! Make sure when you use your quick detailer to keep changing to newer cleaner parts of the MF towel, and use more than one towel if needed.

Always do! I just dusted my car tonight, I used three mf towels. I always keep checking the surface of the towels after a couple of wipes or a panel.

I saw a video from youtube before regarding QD, they said you can directly spray the QD directly to the body n wipe it.. even there's dust on it..
