  • Polishes with rich Oils?

Yes, I know most of meguiars polishes are rich in trade secret oils. But may I know which of the following has the riches TS oil in it:

    1.) DC Step2
    2.) #7 Show Car
    3.) #3 Machine
    4.) #5 New Car
5.) #80 Speed (I know it's a cleaner/polish, but it has TS oils in it right?)

So, what I'm just asking is which of them has the RICHES TS oil in it, so the question of cutting/polishing is out. TNX!

    OFF-TOPIC:

Also how do I apply #80 by hand? (Coz I just don't wanna avail of the cutting power of #80's abbrasives, but instead I just want it's protective coating - not a real paint protection though, coz I'm still to top it with NXT Tech.)

I hope anyone of you give a thourough discussion on this, especially Mike and Tim!

    Tnx in advance!!!!

Using a clean foam applicator pad and a gentle and loving touch.

Seriously. Shake well, apply with care and a gentle touch. If you have some, shake it up and feel it between your two fingers. It will feel like a hand lotion. There is nothing in this product that will scratch the finish.

Now that I've decided between #81 and #7, in my own standards I guess #7 looks better on my 99 silver/beige Honda CRV. I tried them both on either sides of the hood, in the sun, no noticeable difference. But at night, streetlights reflection gives me the conclusion that #7 on the left side is "oilier" (not wetter) than #81 on the right. Although many believe #7 is for single stage paints, works good also on BC/CC (my V).

Now the next thing I would want to know, which do you think between NXT and #20 has a dramatic effect on a silver/beige V? Some said NXT is for dark colored cars, whereas #20 is for light colors, is there a truth on this? which would give the maximum reflection?

TIA! will post the pics when I have it done. my only prep steps are: NXT wash, clay, DC1. (paint still pristine, though CC may be thin already).

            Hey,

I would go with 2 coats of NXT Tech Wax. Here is my wife's car with NXT...

            Cheers!

                Hi again!

I never had any idea a silver can look this good. I have tried #80 and NXT on black and blue, but I had not tried it on my own car since I just thought it a waste of time and my precious speed glaze and NXT. But upon seeing this, gotta try that. So I take your word for it, it's NXT for my silver/beige CRV instead of #20.

                I'll try that #7 topped with NXT x 2

                TNX!!!
