It depends on the leather you apply it to, how thick you apply it, how long you leave it, and whether or not you follow up with a dry towel to buff off excess.

In other words, it's pretty versatile and you can usually obtain the level of gloss you want (or don't want) based on your application process.

Oh, it lasts a long time too... I've been pulling from the same gallon for over a year.

Well, in my experience, that's how it has worked for me. Try a test spot as usual before doing a large area and see what works for you.

          Just a word of advice...

To me, it is best suited for the "cheaper" pleathers/coated leathers.

Apply before washing the car, semi-liberal; follow with a terry buff-down.

It can leave some seats a little 'tacky' til it drives and has a bit of a chemical smell to it. Not bad though.

If it were for my personal vehicles though I'd investigate other products.

Meguiars old detail line leather cleaner/conditioner(the yellow stuff) was FAR superior.

In fact, if anyone has a line on it I've got a sealed gallon of engine kote I'd be willing to trade.
              I want 4" Softbuff pads!

I would say it is definitely a good product, and I think what he mentioned about it working best on the cheaper leather is probably true.

In other words, the leather found in most cars under $70k~ will work well with this (that is a VERY broad recommendation, not a rule of thumb).

Untreated leathers like a Bentley might soak it in differently.

I would also say that it probably leans towards glossy. But again, you can wipe excess away and then it isn't glossy.

I like it, use it whenever I get a car with leather. And Mark is right! This stuff lasts forever! I dont do many cars and am still using the sample I got so I still have a whole gallon I havent even had the chance to use! Any high volume detailers want it?

I've used it for a while now. Usually after a thorough cleaning with APC. My description of it's finish would NOT be glossy. I think of the old Armor All finish that was "glossy"!! This product does add a little color to the leather and while wiping it in appears to moisten. After a follow-up wipe down I'd categorize the finish as "matte". Multiple applications may give you a gloss, I haven't tried that.

I use it in my shop on 95% of all leather. I think it's a great product. When I use it, I first steam clean the leather. While it's still hot (and dry), I apply the conditioner. This allows better absorption and leaves the leather looking and feeling very nice.
